less is more

2007诺贝尔文学奖得主是 Doris Lessing，{看得見風景的房間} 给的标题很有意思，LESSing IS MORE!
以前听过 Joss Stone 的一首歌，歌名就是 Less Is More，搭配 joss 声音的质感，攻击性很强的一首歌呢

less is more 貌似极简主义（Minimalism）的座右铭，在answer上找到几句著名的引言：

Well, less is more, Lucrezia: I am judged.

看起来，跟国语中的“留白”有异曲同工之妙。Coco Chanel 总是这样说，When accessorizing, always take off the last thing you put on，这大概也是秉持着less is more 的观念吧。
撇开less is more 在艺术、设计领域的神圣指导意义，这里作一点点联想：
1、人很“贱”,原谅我用这个看起来触目惊心的字眼，但是人们往往忽视甚至轻视那些为你付出的人，转而追逐那些忽视甚至轻视自己的某个飘忽的影像，so，less is more
2、看起来印象很好的一个人，一张嘴却破了机关，破坏了种种美好的臆想，less is more（当然不排除面目狰狞却口吐莲花的物种存在）
3、减肥，less is more
4、卖个关子，暂且不表，因为less is more
