13 Things About Me

1. I am a nostalgic person, obsessed with Chinese old-fashioned lifestyle. I love the fact that there was a time when people dedicated themselves to appreciate tea, wine, painting, music and everything else defined as fine art.

2. I don't drink because of alcohol allergy.

3. I hate to admit it but I am a terrible procrastinator.I always leave my assignments till the last minute and even weeks after each trip there still will be piles of photos to be processed.

4. I am a Night Owl, but my inner self truly want to be a morning person. Every night I tell myself that I could really use some beauty sleep, yet always end up staying up all night.

5. When I was a kid, my favorite fairy tales included "Mary Poppins", "The Princess and the Pea", "Thumbelina", and "The Adventures of Little Onion".

6. I am a sweet eater, I can eat ice cream no matter what the weather is like and the flavor has to be chocolate, oh, and I have a fantasy of owning a confectionery shop.

7. Words and language inspire me everyday. I'm totally in awe of those who can speak well and write smart and make me sound lame.

8. Categorization drives me nuts. My hard disk is a mess, and I get upset when it comes to organizing photos and music. Should I classify them by genre or artist or gender or nationality or whatever?

9. I never thought this "13 things about me" could be so hard...just sitting in front of the computer and my mind went totally blank, couldn't think of one thing in 3 minutes!

10. I absolutely love music and couldn't go a day without it. Kun Opera is my all time favorite. I've been really into soul and jazz lately, as a matter of fact, my computer is play Adele's debut album 19 right now, she is brilliant.

11. As a kid, I spent most of summer vacations alone at my grandparents' place and would never find it boring. Their house was huge and filled with the scent of spices from my grandma's kitchen. My favorite game back then was opening those huge doors of the wardrobe out of sudden, I found it very frightening yet exciting because of the childish illusion about the ghost hiding behind the door.

12. I want to buy a real camera someday.

13. 13 is actually my birthday, so 13th IS A LUCKY DAY for me no matter what they say.
